Fun and games in the jungle…

These photos show a number of our rescued orangutans playing together in “forest baby school” at our new rescue and rehabilitation centre in Indonesia. They are gorgeous to look at, but each one of these tiny orangutans has been touched by tragedy: they have all lost their mothers, most probably to poachers and palm oil plantations.


This World Orangutan Day, please take a stand withInternational Animal Rescue and pledge to boycott palm oil for 24 hours. It doesn’t matter when you do it or how you do it, as long as it helps more people to understand the grip that palm oil has over us. As long as we consume palm oil at the rate we are, these precious young primates, and many more like them, will continue to suffer as a result.
